We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Support and Merchandising Coordinator to join our team. To build effective relationships with retail partners in order to drive opportunities, initiatives and delivery of wholesale targets & company objectives in line with annual plans + working closely with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery to all Irish independent retailers.

Responsibilities

Retail Support and Merchandising Coordinator

  • Schedule on site visits to all 22 pharmacy doors across the month.
  • Merchandise to planogram, clean & tidy the Benefit FSDU in store and create manual PO for stock order approved by Pharmacy Manager. Discuss any commercial opportunities for promotions, new lines or seasonal offers and create POS with Benefit Design team as and when required to reach agreed monthly sales target.
  • Provide Visual assets to all PM doors for their online channels and use in their customer communications.
  • Create monthly manual PO for Dunnes Bandon Road and track sales weekly with Dunnes HO.
  • Send all samples and GWP to pharmacy doors to support agreed promos and track Return on Investment.
  • Send out all Product Allocation proposals to Independent retailers in Ireland  including Brown Thomas, Arnotts, Shaws and CH  Trallee  for all NPD, Xmas and Black Friday promos.
  • Process markdowns and in store promos for Indies along with stock returns and RGA’s etc.

In house activities include-

  • Monthly VM and planogram meetings with Benefit design Team- plan NPD placement and costings for installs.
  • Brief assets to our Design team for local promos and markdowns , along with social postings and events 
  • Manage discontinued stock and returns with all retailers along with Benefit UK ops team.
  • Provide assets and sales /promo plan for retailer E comms sites- Milles ( pureplay) and BTA and Shaws.
  • Collate and assist in creating product decks for quarterly meetings  with indie retailers – pulling deck, NPD allocation and seasonal promos and Calander for GWP etc. 
  • Support SDM’s in events /masterclass calendar- post tickets on Eventbrite and provide goodie bags and set up for in store eventsAchievement of retail sales and service sale across the Region.

 

Office based, with some national travel required and associated overnight stays.

Profile

  • 1 to 2 years relevant sales’ experience (FMCG or industry)
  • Experience in National Account support or similar functions
  • Experience of UK retail market place
  • Experience within either a luxury, premium or cosmetic business
  • Personal affinity with brand and products
  • Cross functional experience an asset but not essential
  • Experience of producing trade marketing plans desirable
  • Graduate calibre
